Other Qualifications or Notes: Fully Amateur trained (with a lot of help) In Canada: CKC Archer completed his JH and SH titles by 16 months. At 15 months he won a junior field trial and placed 3rd in a qual the same day. Archer started running Master Hunt tests by 25 months and achieved 2 more 3rd placings and a 4th in quals at 26 and 27 months. By 36 months he titled in Master Hunter, placed first and second in the same weekend in qual for his QFTR title. UKC: we titled seasoned at 22 months old. And titled HRCH at 25 months. Qualified All Age-first place--AKC by 36 months (this was the first time we had ran any field trials in the States. And I only wanted a hunting dog. Archer has proven himself as a capable stud dog. He has sired several large litters of healthy pups. Some of those pups have gone on to be SAR dogs, hunting companions and great competition dogs. Even tempered, maliable with great off switches. |
