Other Qualifications or Notes: Rocky is the son of our stud dog, Champ, (Martin's Risky Stormin Trooper) who is a 4X Grand Master Pointing Retriever (4XGMPR) , AKC Master Hunter (MH) and HRC Hunting Retriever Champion (HRCH). Rocky is a wonderful pet and great upland and waterfowl hunter. He's great with other dogs and children and loves affection. At 65 pounds, he has a lean, muscular physic. In the AKC Hunt Test and AKC Field Trial games he's had great success. By 2 1/2 years old, Rocky has already earned his AKC Junior Hunter title, AKC Master Hunter Title and earned a JAM and 3rd Place Finish in AKC Qualifying Field Trials. Rocky has also earned his UKC/HRC Hunting Retriever Title and he's passed two HRC "Finished" Hunt Tests. Rocky is 100% amateur trained and handled. Of the roughly 25 Labradors that earn their AKC Master title each year in Minnesota, 21 of those dogs are professionally trained and handled. Rocky is one of only 4 Master dogs that were amateur trained and handled by an amateur. Rocky qualified to participate in the 2023 Master National. |
