According to a Field Trial report in the Lancashire Daily Post the 30 Sep 1925 "Fluent of Flodden came out on top of the North Western Field Trial Association's Non-Winners stake at Wesby nr Kirkham Sep 29 1925. A bitch with an exceptional style and a clever nose and like the winner in the preceding class was in excellent command. The bitch has whippet blood in her veins, the sire being a product of the Whippet-Labrador cross."
