Ozzie is a dynamic retriever with classic Labrador looks and a pedigree to back up his credentials. Ozzie is a moderately sized 70lb with excellent working conformation. He is a muscular dog that trains hard and is an extremely consistent performer in the field. Intense but collected at the line and smooth handling in the field, Ozzie has all the qualities we look for in a hunting retriever as well as in a hunt test competitor. He is a tremendous team player, excellent marking dog, very intelligent, and a pleasure to train.
As a hunting dog, Ozzie has retrieved well over 2000 wild birds in his lifetime, hunting in a variety of conditions and locations across the Midwest and Southern states for puddleducks and geese. In the house he has a great off switch and loves to spend time with his family. He also gets along well with other dogs and house pets.
