Joker is a tall athletically built male who naturally stands tall and square at the line. He was owner trained for hunt tests until he was 28 months old. After running only one master test, he started training for field trials in May of 2021 at 28 mos of age with JD Babb of Buh-Yah Retrievers..

He received a reserve Jam in the 52 dog Professional Retriever Trainer Association Qualifier in Ronan, MT at 31 mos of age. He ran the qualifier at the Acadiana Retriever Club qualifying fourth at 32 months of age. He picked up another JAM the next weekend in a 40 dog q at Black Warrior Retriever Cub and achieved QAA status on December 3, 2021 at 2.8 years old placing second in a 40 dog qualifier at South Louisiana Retriever Club. Joker passed the 2022 Spring International Grand on his first attempt. He has never failed an AKC or HRC hunt test going 21/21 in master tests and 21/21 in HRC tests. He also passed the 2022 AKC Master National in Roseburg, Oregon, the 2024 AKC Master National in Paducah, KY and the 2025 Master National in Giddings, TX earning his Master National Hall of Fame title. Joker passed the Natchez Spring HRC Grand for his first pass and earned his second HRC Grand pass at the 2022 Music City Fall Grand on 2’s and passed the 2024 Spring Grand in Omaha, GA on 2's. Joker is easy to handle, biddable and an excellent marker. He takes great lines and is a great team player.
