Molly earned her Beginner Novice (BN) and Companion Dog (CD) obedience titles with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and has one leg on her Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title. AKC has also awarded her the Trick Dog Advanced (TDA), Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Temperament Test (ATT) and Farm Dog Certified (FDC) titles.

Molly is highly skilled in scent detection. Her highest honor (to date) is recognition by the National Association of Canine Scent Works (NACSW) as the 56th Labrador retriever to attain Elite Champion (ELT-CH) status. She has done this with numerous high placements and “pronounced” designations. She was the first Labrador to earn Nose Work Skills Achievement Master (NSAM) designation. In addition, she is the 12th Labrador retriever to earn Scent Dog Advanced (SDA) designation with Performance Scent Dog (PSD) and has several excellent level titles. With AKC, Molly has completed Scent Work Excellent (SWE), Scent Work Handler Discrimination Novice (SHDN) and Scent Work Container Master (SCM) titles with many placements! Molly also earned her Novice Container (NC) and Novice Interior (NI) with United Kennel Club (UKC) with two High in Trials. She really enjoys the scent detection sport!

Molly is a certified Therapy Dog with Therapy Dogs International (TDI) and is recognized as an AKC Therapy Dog Advanced (THDA) for completing more than 100 therapy visits. She visits staff and patients at Stony Brook University Hospital and participates in a children's reading program at a local library. During the Corona Pandemic, Doreen sent 60 photos of Molly in various poses with encouraging words to the hospital staff and COVID tips. During the height of the pandemic, they did more than 50 virtual pet therapy visits. In September 2020, Stony Brook Medicine named the team of Doreen & Molly as “Volunteer of the Year.”
