Abby is a very well-rounded retriever that is hard charging and loves to work. She is an impeccable marking dog and eager to please. She is a year round hunting companion and family member. She is popular with all that meet her. She has excelled in every arena that she’s competed in over the course of her career. She had early success in the field trials, AKC/UKC hunt tests and the Super Retriever Series.
She won a Qualifier in the spring of 2018 earning her “QAA”. She followed suit by earning a JAM in the Fall of 2018 in the only Open she ever ran to attain her QA2.
Abby has been in the finals of the SRS Crown Chanpionship for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022. Abby won a SRS club event in 2020 qualifying her for the 2020 Crown. She was a finalist at the Crown Championship in 2020, placing 5th…which gave her enough points for her SRSC title. She won another club event in 2021. She was a finalist at the 2021 Crown Championship…placing 3rd place. Abby qualified again in 2022 with many placements and was once again a finalist placing 5th(tying for fourth place). A goal was set in 2023 for Abby to earn her SRSAC title. She has qualified for the Crown in 2023 with 3 different handlers(each person that handled her) and is 1 point from earning her SRSAC title.
Abby earned her HRCH title in the Fall of 2015 at the age of 15mo. She earned her MH title in the Fall of 2016. Abby has passed several Grands and is a GRHRCH. Abby has had 3 litters with many titled offspring. Abby has been bred with NAFC FC Paddle Creek’s Pack Your Grip “Traveler” and twice with FC AFC Flawless Execution “Flex.” Abby is named after her sire “Pow” and Lean Mac (Lean Mac is on both the top and bottom of her pedigree).
