Mookie is highly competitive in hunt tests and field trials. In field trials he has a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishes in the Amateur All Age for 9.5 points, QA2, competed in the 2022 National Derby Championship in Missouri for field trials and made it 8/10 of the series with an amateur handling. In hunt tests he has his Master Hunter title with 11 Master passes and finished the Master Nationals for 2023. Sired by National Field Champion Bayou Teche Swing for the Fence (Foxx). Mookie can turn it on in competitions with an amazing off switch when not competing. He is a well-mannered gentleman in the home and a chill buddy I like taking everywhere, including flying as my service dog. Mookie looks for opportunities to please. He has his Embark health testing completed, eye testing completed, OFA hips/elbows, cardiac screening, and patellar ligament testing. In the off season he loves hunting waterfowl, pheasants in North Dakota.
